According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the widening project on Route 29 in Eaton Township, Wyoming County is nearing completion.
Final paving is complete and pavement markings and line painting work are scheduled for Thursday (10/30) and Friday (10/31). Because of the nature of the epoxy material used in this type of procedure, the work cannot be done at night. So, weather permitting, crews will be working from approximately 9 a.m. after morning rush hour and once school buses have passed through the area.
Only one lane will be open in each direction, so drivers should expect delays and watch for crews and flagging operations.
Remaining project work includes driveway adjustments, some sidewalk and other finishing work that could have little or no impact on traffic. Lighting is up and functional.
