Throughout the school year, faculty and staff members at the Lehman-Jackson Elementary School organize dress down days to benefit local charities. Charities that have been benefited from this worthy event include local fire stations, the American Cancer Society, the Buddy Walk, the S.P.C.A, local food banks and local community events for children. The faculty and staff have raised almost $4,000 for charity since the beginning of dress down days. Most recently, the faculty and staff held a dress day to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.
