McCain visit to U of S planned

SCRANTON — Sen. John McCain, the Republican nominee for president, will make an appearance Sunday at the University of ‘s John Long Center. His stop will come two days before the presidential election.

The Obama campaign is not keeping quiet in Northeast Pennsylvania Sunday.

Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy, will speak at Wilkes University’s Henry Student Center’s ballroom, 84 W. South St., at 3:30 p.m. and then head north for a 5 p.m. event at the Scranton Cultural Center, 420 N. Washington Ave.
