In cooperation with American Legion Post 662, Dallas Middle School will serve as a collection location for damaged flags in need of proper disposal. Beginning October 1, any community member can drop off unserviceable American flags in the designated container at the main entrance of the middle school during school hours. An appropriate flag disposal ceremony will be held by the American Legion at the end of October and in June.
