KINGSTON – A 15-year old Meyers High School student testified that he saw Gregory Orlando Fann kill a Tunkhannock teen in an isolated area of Edwardsville on May 29.

The high school student was one of three witnesses to testify against Fann, 21, of Wilkes-Barre, during a preliminary hearing before District Judge Paul J. Roberts Jr. in Kingston earlier today.

Roberts determined there was enough evidence to send charges of criminal homicide, robbery and theft to Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.

The 15-year old witness testified that he was standing next to Fann when he shot Aaron Witko, 19, three times in a wooded area near the Wilkes-Barre Railroad Connecting Bridge, also known as the Black Diamond Bridge.

Joshua Dixon testified he set up the meeting between Fann and Witko to buy an assault rifle.

Luzerne County Coroner John Corcoran said Witko suffered three gunshot wounds.
