DALLAS — Hey, Ralphie Boy! I wonder how many readers will recognize that famous salutation. Just in case you don’t know, it was from the 1950s sitcom, “The Honeymooners.” Time can’t erase how funny the skits were but pet overpopulation is not a laughing matter. Blue Chip Farm is a “no kill’ shelter but we cannot possibly take in every stray kitten. Every year, millions of cats and dogs are euthanized in our nation’s animal shelters because there are more pets than responsible homes. Luckily, this will not be Ralphie’s fate. Both Ralphie and his brother, Casper, are 8 weeks old. They were abandoned and found living under someone’s deck. Both are healthy and ready for adoption.
