DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Jan. 25:

MONDAY: Cheeseburger on whole wheat sandwich roll, corn chowder, tossed salad, mixed berries, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Rosemary chicken, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts medley, whole wheat dinner roll, rice pudding, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Roast beef, boiled new potatoes, roasted carrots and beets, whole wheat dinner roll, orange, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Polish Day Special Lunch: Smoked kielbasa, haluski, mashed potatoes, spiced hot applesauce, assorted doughnuts, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Fish Florentine, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, whole wheat dinner roll, sorbet, milk and coffee.
