DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of April 4:

MONDAY: Glazed pork roast, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, apple slices, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Turkey and dumplings, green and wax beans, boiled new potatoes, peach crisp, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Herb baked fish, snap peas, scalloped potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, vanilla ice cream, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Roast beef, brussels sprouts, roasted red potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Open face hot pork sandwich, garden vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, crackers, rice krispie treat, milk and coffee.
