DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of April 11:

MONDAY: Whole wheat spaghetti with meatballs, tossed salad, broccoli with garlic, chocolate pudding, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Bag lunch.

WEDNESDAY: Beef and broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, brown rice, scalloped pears, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Volunteer Special Dinner: Chicken piccata (lemon and caper sauce), tossed salad with dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, wheat dinner roll, carrot cake, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Hamburger on a whole wheat sandwich roll, tomato basil soup, seasoned potato wedges, birthday cake, milk and coffee.
