DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of April 18:

MONDAY: Chef salad w/chicken, potato salad, whole wheat dinner roll, Mandarin Orange Delight gelatin, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Pork chop, roasted red potatoes, broccoli and carrots, whole wheat dinner roll, orange, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Meatloaf, green and wax beans, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, baked cinnamon apples, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Roast turkey, sweet potatoes, peas, biscuit, strawberries and whipped topping, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Herb and lemon fish, vegetable barley soup, stewed tomatoes, macaroni and cheese, double chocolate chip cookie, milk and coffee.
