Wilkes-Barre Chamber plans Christmas in July for July 30

WILKES-BARRE — If you’re looking forward to Christmas, you don’t have to wait until December.

The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce will host “Christmas in July” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30.

Local businesses will feature deals and discounts throughout the day in their locations, chamber director Lindsey Bezick wrote in a news release, while local vendors, artists and family activities will be showcased in the Chandelier Lobby of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.

Among the promotions for the day, if you bring two canned goods to donate to the United Way of Wyoming Valley Christmas in July Food Drive you’ll be entered in a contest to win a golf outing for four to Myrtle Beach, sponsored by Sundance Vacations.
