The Wyoming County community is invited to join in celebrating March as Intellectual Disability Awareness Month at an upcoming proclamation ceremony at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at the Wyoming County Commissioners Chambers, Wyoming County Courthouse, Courthouse Square, Tunkhannock.

The program, arranged in concert with the Wyoming County Commissioners and the Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Mental Health & Developmental (MH&DS) Services, will include remarks on the accomplishments of persons with intellectual disabilities and reading and presentation of the proclamation by Wyoming County Commissioners, followed by refreshments.
