TRUCKSVILLE — Courtney M. Wagner, a Dallas Senior High School graduate, has earned the Linda Akers Memorial Book Scholarship. The award is given to a member of a United Methodist Church who is a graduate of Dallas Senior High School.
Wagner, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Wagner, is a member of the Trucksville United Methodist Church and plans to study elementary education at King’s College in the fall.
Scholarship committee members are Owen Faut, Trucksville United Methodist Church; Susie Snyder, Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church; James D. Welch, Dallas United Methodist Church; and Rev. Robert G. Wood, Dallas United Methodist Church.
