DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. For participants age 60+ a $2.00 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Sept. 21:

MONDAY: Meatloaf, cauliflower and peas, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken salad sandwich, beef barley soup, tomato cucumber dill salad, whole wheat sandwich roll, Ambrosia, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Whole wheat penne with turkey meat sauce, garlic steamed spinach, mixed greens salad, fruit sorbet, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Sautéed beef and broccoli, glazed carrots, noodles, sugar cookie, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Pork Marsala, roasted potatoes, Italian green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.
