DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. Donations from participants are gratefully accepted and needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 5:

MONDAY: Yankee pot roast with vegetables, 0ven-browned potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken Paparikash, broccoli and cauliflower, whole wheat buttered noodles, crackers, fruit cobbler, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Apple ginger pork loin, mashed butternut squash, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry banana gelatin, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Italian Day Special Dinner – Tortellini Alfredo, mixed green salad, Italian dressing, Italian blend vegetable, lemon macarpone cake, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Open-face hot roast beef sandwich, dilled carrots, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, chocolate chip cookie, milk and coffee.
