DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Jan. 4:

MONDAY: Roast pork, parsley boiled potatoes, sauteed red cabbage & apples, whole wheat dinner roll, orange ambrosia, milk, and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken marsala, green and wax beans, roasted red potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, spiced peaches, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Tomato basil fish, broccoli and cauliflower, potatoes au gratin, whole wheat dinner roll, cookie, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Swiss steak, vegetable soup, peas and pearl onions, whole wheat buttered noodles, fresh fruit salad, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Elvis Presley Day Special Lunch: Open face turkey sandwich on wheat bread, tossed salad with dressing, mashed potatoes, parsley carrots, banana cream pie, milk and coffee.
