DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Jan. 11:

MONDAY: Chicken caesar salad, vegetable barley soup, crackers, fruit cobbler, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Bag lunch

WEDNESDAY: Pork and peppers, broccoli and carrots, whole wheat noodles, crackers, banana, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Turkey sausage, home fries with peppers & onions, french toast, strawberries, cottage cheese, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Special Lunch: Fried chicken breast, wheat sandwich roll, cole slaw, mixed vegetables, birthday cake, milk and coffee.
