Back Mountain Memorial Library luncheon features hometown author


    The Friends of the Back Mountain Memorial Library hosted their 28th annual luncheon with a special author at the Appletree Terrace in Dallas. More than 170 people attended the event and listened to David Pupa, the author of The Magician, while he read from his book and answered questions. All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the library. At the luncheon, from left, are: Debbie Cooper, vice president; Janie Kishbaugh, luncheon chairperson; Pupa, Kay Simons, past president; Susan Berdis, luncheon co-chairperson and Lynn Ahmad, Friends of the Library steering committee co-chair.
