Temperatures are going to rise and fall dramatically these next few days in the Wyoming Valley with periods of rain and sunshine as well.
The National Weather Service reported it was 38 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.
Today will see a high of 43 degrees with a slight chance of rain after 5 p.m. while tonight temperatures will drop to 40 degrees with a 90 percent chance of precipitation.
A 100 percent chance of rain and a high of 52 degrees is expected for Sunday, but skies will be mostly cloudy at night with temperatures dropping significantly to 25 degrees.
Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 28 degrees while Monday night temperatures will drop to 18 degrees.
