DALLAS TWP. — The 2016 Dallas High School Lock-In Rummage Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at the Dallas Middle School. Set up/drop off for the event will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, March 11.

Breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase. Donations of food items are still needed. Volunteers can reach food chairperson Judy Santora via email at rjasantora@aol.com.

Students can receive service hours for their time. Of special need to the sale are those with trucks, SUVs or vans to help move items from storage to the Dallas Middle School. Clearances are required for those will be active at the sale.

Volunteers will be needed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, March 11, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12 and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13. Anyone willing to give of their time and talents should contact DHS Lock-In co-chairperson Trudy McAndrew at Tmac_29@yahoo.com.

Donations for the rummage sale are always appreciated, but the following will not be accepted: televisions, computers and computer accessories, or exercise equipment.

Accepted items include the following: clothing, housewares, jewelry, small jewelry boxes, books, toys, puzzles, games, kitchen items, tools, furniture, lamps, and other items. Also needed are plastic bags, bubble wrap and small boxes.

Businesses are welcome to provide baskets or items to be included in this year’s basket raffle. For more information, contact Lock-In co-chairperson Donna Kon at donnakon@gmail.com.
