    DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

    The following is the menu for the week of June 27:

    MONDAY: Salisbury steak, broccoli and red peppers, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, fruit yogurt, milk and coffee.

    TUESDAY: Turkey salad, strawberry spinach salad, cream of broccoli soup, whole wheat pita, graham crackers, mixed berries, milk and coffee.

    WEDNESDAY: Chicken and sausage bake, chuck wagon corn, steamed brown rice, strawberry parfait, milk and coffee.

    THURSDAY: Glazed pork roast, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, apple slices, milk and coffee.

    FRIDAY: Oven fried chicken, roasted red potatoes, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.
