    DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

    The following is the menu for the week of July 4:

    MONDAY: Center is closed.

    TUESDAY: Frank and beans, beef vegetable soup, cucumber dill salad, crackers, cottage cheese and blueberries, milk and coffee.

    WEDNESDAY: Bag lunch.

    THURSDAY: BBQ pork chop, peas and carrots, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, diced peaches, margarine, milk and coffee.

    FRIDAY: Beef stew with potatoes and carrots, Brussels sprouts, buttered noodles, chocolate brownie, milk and coffee.
