DALLAS TWP. — Misericordia University recently recognized the academic accomplishments in philosophy of graduating student Marina Painter of Dallas by presenting her with prestigious academic awards at the annual Honors and Awards Ceremony in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall.

Painter received the Living Philosophy Aspen Award, which is presented to a graduating philosophy major who has – like a single aspen tree seedling – grown and reached out to create a forest of living and enduring ideas, changing the landscape forever, and creating footpaths for future generations to walk in.
