Dallas Senior Center menu for week of July 18, 2016

DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of July 18:

MONDAY: Chicken piccata, Italian vegetable blend, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, sugar cookie, margarine, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Savory pork roast, sweet potatoes, green and wax beans, whole wheat dinner roll, graham crackers, mini-Rice Krispie treat, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken bacon ranch salad, garden vegetable soup, whole wheat dinner roll, orange, ranch dressing, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Roast turkey, Brussels sprouts, parsley buttered carrots, bread stuffing, pumpkin spice cake, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Tomato basil fish, potatoes au gratin, broccoli and cauliflower, whole wheat dinner roll, oatmeal cookie, margarine, milk and coffee.
