DALLAS — The Performing Arts Training Academy (PATA) will perform a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater at Misericordia University.

Accompanied by the PATA live band, PATA staff and performers will perform classic rock and contemporary pop songs by Coldplay, Queen, OneRepublic and Walk the Moon, hit Broadway show tunes from “Hamilton” and “Fun Home,” as well as songs from PATA’s original musical, “A Musing Tale.”

The concert is being offered in conjunction with the PATA summer training program, a day camp for beginner and established regional performers ages 7 to 17 that is being held July 25 through Aug. 14 at Misericordia.

In addition to the PATA Summer Concert, Misericordia will host “Rhapsody & Rhythm: The Gershwin Concert Experience,” a multimedia concert event that celebrates the ingenious music and legacy of George and Ira Gershwin, at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater. Tickets for “Rhapsody & Rhythm” are $200 for a festival table that seats six; $25 for amphitheater seating, and $15 for lawn seats.

Legendary rock band Kansas, known for hits such as “Dust in the Wind,” “Carry On Wayward Son,” and “Point of No Return,” will perform the Starlight Concert on Friday, Aug. 12, also in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater. Tickets for Kansas are $380 for a festival table that seats six; $30 for amphitheater seating, and $20 for lawn seats.
