Dallas Senior Center menu for week of Aug. 1, 2016

DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Aug. 1:

MONDAY: Oven fried chicken, roasted red potatoes, green beans, whole wheat dinner roll, cherry gelatin, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cauliflower and peas, whole wheat dinner roll, watermelon, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Frank and beans, beef vegetable soup, cucumber dill salad, crackers, cottage cheese and blueberries, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Tuna salad platter, corn salad, whole wheat dinner roll, chocolate chip cookie, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: BBQ pork chop, peas and carrots, mashed potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll, diced peaches, margarine, milk and coffee.
