DALLAS — The parishes of Gate of Heaven in Dallas and Our Lady of Victory in Harveys Lake will host a Parish Mission of Mercy for three days, beginning Monday, Aug. 15.

The mission will be led by Fr. Michael Quinnan, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Broadheadsville, who was commissioned earlier this year by Pope Francis, along with more than 1,000 priests from five continents, as a missionary of mercy.

The schedule is as follows:

• The mission begins with Holy Mass at 7 p.m. Aug. 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with Quinnan as homilist at Gate of Heaven.

• Quinnan will talk about “Our Merciful Father who Goes Beyond the Law of Just Recompense to Forgive and Welcome Home” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Our Lady of Victory. Confession will follow.

• Quinnan will conclude the mission at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 at Gate of Heaven with his talk on “Mercy is not Mercy unless it is Shared,” followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Light refreshments will be served after each service.
