DALLAS — Active Adult Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. A $2 meal donation is gratefully accepted. The monies are needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of Aug. 22:

MONDAY: Tomato basil fish, potatoes au gratin, broccoli and cauliflower, whole wheat dinner roll, oatmeal cookie, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Chicken Philly sandwich, corn chowder, tossed salad, whole wheat club roll, apples and berries with whipped topping, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, roasted beets and carrots, whole wheat dinner roll, apple bread pudding, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Parisian Day Special Dinner: Chicken with sauce, string beans, rice pilaf, French crumb cake, milk and coffee.

FRIDAY: Whole wheat penne with meat sauce, Italian green beans, Italian wedding soup, sorbet, milk and coffee.
