DALLAS — AJ Pimm, 7, son of Eric and Amy Pimm of Dallas, will display his collection of hockey memorabilia at the Back Mountain Memorial Library throughout the month of October. AJ is a second-grade student at Lehman-Jackson Elementary School.

AJ has been collecting hockey memorabilia for three years, a hobby that was inspired by his family. He is also heavily involved in the sport himself, as he takes hockey lessons and plays for the Junior Penguins.

Asked what his favorite pieces in the collection are, AJ said, “My Matt Murray signed puck because he went to the big Pens, and my Pat McGrath bobble fists because Pat is my friend.”

AJ has had the opportunity to meet several of his favorite hockey players. “I love meeting the players and going to the games. All the Pens players are very nice!” he said.

Members of the community are invited to see AJ’s hockey collection throughout October at the Back Mountain Memorial Library in Dallas.
