The National Weather Service indicated it was 43 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and cloudy skies were reported.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the week, warning the higher temperatures will cause the existing snow from Winter Storm Stella to melt.
