DALLAS TWP. — Dallas Elementary students pushed their reading, writing and arithmetic to the side April 13.

The students had a huge, white distraction – the Easter Bunny.

The rascally rabbit hopped right into the elementary school and proceeded to visit every classroom from preschool students to fifth-grades, said Jenn Hoover, publicity liaison for the Dallas Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.

Truthfully, Bunny’s visit was not quite so random.

The PTO sponsors the Easter Bunny’s visit annually.

The students’ warm reception could also be the reason for the rabbit returns, year to year.

Every classroom the white fuzzy Bunny would enter, resulted in smiles, squeals of delight and laughter.

Many students hugged the Easter Bunny.

Regan Palfey’s third-grade class even did the Bunny Hop with the floppy-eared fellow.
