DALLAS — Dallas High School track star Lindsey Oremus has committed to St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Oremus ran track and field and cross country at Dallas for four years. Her team won the PIAA state championship cross country meet in 2013 where she finished 14th individually. She returned in the 2014 season and was the runner-up to her teammate, Ally Rome, at both the District 2 championships and the PIAA state meet.

This past spring, Oremus excelled at numerous events on the track with her biggest accomplishment being a gold medal at the PIAA District 2 meet and advancing to the the final heat and a sixth-place medal in the 1600m race at the PIAA state championship meet.
