Colder temperatures, along with a chance for some snow, are expected in the Wyoming Valley this weekend.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 38 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with mostly cloudy skies reported.
Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 39.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight, with a slight chance of rain and snow before 7 p.m. and snow showers possible afterward. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, and the low will be around 26.
Partly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Less than a half an inch of snow is expected, and the high will be near 34.
Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, with a low around 25.
Sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 38. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Sunday night, with a low around 29.
