The week’s dry weather will change Friday night as rain and freezing rain will move into the Wyoming Valley.

Friday’s daytime high temperature will reach 40 degrees while night lows hovering new 32 degrees will create patches of sleet and freezing drizzle after midnight.

Cloudy skies Saturday will prevent temperatures from reaching above 40 degrees. Wind speeds between five to ten miles-per-hour will make it feel a bit chilly. Saturday night temperatures will dip slightly to 38 degrees, but winds will increase with gusts reaching 35 miles-per-hour.

The wind will continue into Sunday with gusts up to 30 miles-per-hour. Also, Sunday looks like a washout with an 80 percent chance of rain and a high of 40 degrees. Sunday night will temperatures will fall to 23 degrees.
