Scattered congestion should do little to slow the commute

Commuters should have little trouble getting to work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Minor congestion is reported on Route 315 in the area of East Main Street, while some heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, some heavy congestion is reported on Mundy Street. Minor congestion is also reported on Highland Park Boulevard in the area of the Wilkes-Barre Township Marketplace.

Downtown, some scattered minor traffic congestion is reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and extending onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Minor congestion is also reported on East Market, North River and South River streets, but otherwise, the area is relatively quiet.

In Kingston, scattered areas of heavy traffic congestion are reported throughout Market Street, while scattered minor traffic congestion is reported on Wyoming Avenue.
