Quiet forecast for the Wyoming Valley expected into the weekend

The forecast for the Wyoming Valley is quiet heading into the weekend, with clear skies and no precipitation predicted.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 43 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 44. Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 27.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted to round out the week on Friday, with a high near 38. Partly cloudy skies are expected on Friday night, with a low around 24.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 41. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 27.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 41. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Sunday night, with a low around 22.
