Temperatures are expected to rise once again as the Wyoming Valley enters the weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated that mostly cloudy skies are reported at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport this morning. The morning report did not specify what the temperature was.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 30. Mostly clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 14.

Mostly cloudy skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 37.

Clouds are expected to move back into the region on Friday night, along with a chance of rain and sleet between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. Little or no sleet accumulation is expected, and the low will be around 32.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a slight chance of showers. The high will climb to about 50.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected for Saturday night, with a low around 47.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted to round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 47. Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a chance of rain and snow. The low will be around 32.
