Scattered areas of minor, heavy traffic congestion reported this morning

Scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion could add some time onto the morning commute this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while some scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Route 315 is reporting some scattered areas of minor traffic congestion, and Route 115 is reporting heavier congestion in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered minor congestion is reported on Mundy and Kidder streets. Spring Street near Mundy street is also reporting some heavy traffic.

Downtown, Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are each reporting scattered areas of traffic congestion, while heavier congestion is reported on Hazle Street from High Street to South Main street.

North Main, South Main and East Market streets are each reporting isolated areas of heavy congestion. Some heavy congestion is also reported on North River Street near North Street Bridge.

In Kingston, Market Street and Wyoming Avenue are each reporting scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion throughout the borough.
