Aside from some scattered areas of minor traffic congestion, commuters should have little trouble kicking off the week with a smooth ride into work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, while Route 115 is reporting minor traffic congestion in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Areas of minor traffic congestion are also reported on Highland Park and Wilkes-Barre Township boulevards, along with Coal Street.

Downtown, Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are each reporting scattered areas of minor traffic. Hazle Street is also reporting areas of minor traffic, along with some isolated areas of heavy congestion at various intersections.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
