Scattered areas of traffic congestion are reported this morning in the Wyoming Valley, but commuters should have no problem getting into work and school.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Route 315 is reporting scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion south of East Main Street, while Route 115 is reporting minor congestion in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of heavy traffic congestion are reported on Kidder Street and Highland Park Boulevard.

Downtown, scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Scattered areas of heavy congestion are reported on Hazle and South Main streets.

Elsewhere, minor congestion is reported on North Main and East North streets, along with on East Market Street and onto Public Square. Areas of minor and heavy congestion are also reported on North and South River streets, with heavy congestion also reported on the Market Street Bridge.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street, while scattered areas of heavier congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
