Aside from some isolated areas of heavy traffic congestion, commuters should have no trouble getting to work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Interstate 476. Areas of minor congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115, but the North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion.

Near the Wyoming Valley mall, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Kidder Street. Highland Park Boulevard is also reporting some heavy congestion in the area of the Wilkes-Barre Township Marketplace.

Downtown, scattered areas of heavy traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Minor traffic is reported on Hazle, East Market, West Market and North Main streets.

Scattered areas of minor congestion are also reported on North and South Rivers streets.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
