The Wyoming Valley could see some rain into tonight and Friday, but sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected this weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 44 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 65.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for tonight, with showers likely after 2 a.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall is possible, and tonight’s low will be around 54.

Showers are expected to be likely before noon on Friday, with another quarter of an inch of rainfall possible. The high will be near 64.

Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 31.

Sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 55. Mostly clear skies are expected into Saturday night, with a low around 35.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 61. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Sunday night, along with a chance of showers. the low will be around 42.
