Isolated areas of traffic congestion reported this morning

Some areas of traffic congestion are reported this morning, but commuters should have little trouble getting to work and school.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, while heavier congestion is reported on Route 115 in the areas of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Mundy Street.

Downtown, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported at intersections on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Hazle Street is also reporting some heavy congestion from South Pennsylvania Avenue to High Street.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Market Street, while some isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
