Commuters could encounter some scattered area of minor traffic congestion on the ride into work or school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Some minor traffic is reported on Route 315 south of East Main Street, while some heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some isolated areas of minor traffic congestion are reported in both lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of minor traffic are reported on Kidder, Mundy and Spring streets.

Downtown, areas of minor congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre. Minor congestion is also reported on Hazle, North River and South River streets, but some heavy congestion is reported on South Main street in the area of Blackman Street.

In Kingston, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
