The Wyoming Valley could get some rain as the week comes to an end.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 39 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 66. Mostly clear skies are expected into tonight, with a low around 41.

Clouds are expected to increase on Thursday, with a high near 71.

Cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday night, along with a 40 percent chance of showers. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 53.

Showers are likely on Friday, with a 70 percent chance of rain predicted. The high will be near 71.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, along with a chance of showers before 2 a.m. The low will be around 46.
