Commuters could encounter some areas of traffic on the ride into work and school this morning.
Heavy congestion is reported in the northbound lanes on Interstate 81 north of the exchange with the North Cross Valley Expressway. Interstate 476 is free of traffic congestion.
Routes 315 and 115, along with the North Cross Valley Expressway, are free of traffic congestion. Areas of traffic congestion are reported in both lanes of travel on the South Cross Valley Expressway.
Downtown, isolated areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, East Northampton Street and Coal Street. Hazle Street is also reporting areas of minor congestion in the area of South Main Street.
North and South River streets are each reporting scattered areas of traffic congestion.
In Kingston, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
