The Wyoming Valley could get some more rain today and into tonight, but skies are expected to clear as the weekend approaches.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 48 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with mostly cloudy skies reported.

Clouds are expected to stick around today, along with a 40 percent chance of showers after 11 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible, and the high will be near 63.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected into tonight, along with a 40 percent chance of showers before 3 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 45.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 65. Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Wednesday night, with a low around 44.

Mostly sunny skies are expected for Thursday, with a high near 67. Mostly clear skies will follow into Thursday night, with a low around 45.
