Scattered areas of traffic congestion reported this morning

Commuters could encounter some scattered areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, but scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Isolated areas of traffic congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115, but the North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion.

Areas of minor congestion are reported on the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of minor congestion are reported on Mundy and Kidder streets.

Downtown, areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Minor congestion is also reported on Hazle, North Main, South Main and East Market streets.

Isolated areas of heavy congestion are also reported on North River and West North streets.

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
