Commuters could encounter some scattered areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work and school this morning.
Heavy congestion is reported on Interstate 81 northbound south of Dupont, and scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Interstate 476.
Isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Route 315, while minor congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Widespread minor congestion is reported in the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of minor congestion are reported on Mundy Street and Highland Park Boulevard.
Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. South Main Street is reporting minor congestion near West South Street, but the rest of the downtown area is free of congestion.
In Kingston, areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported throughout Market Street, while scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue.
