Sunshine will round out the rest of the week, but the Wyoming Valley could see some rain and snow into the weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 45 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and mostly cloudy skies were reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 46. Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight, with a low around 34.

Partly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 45.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Friday night, along with a slight chance of rain showers that could mix with snow after 1 a.m. The low will be around 34.

Cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a chance of rain and snow between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., followed by rain after 2 p.m. The high will be near 42.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, along with a 30 percent chance of showers before 8 p.m. The low will be around 30.

Partly sunny skies will end the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 41.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a 40 percent chance of snow showers after 8 p.m. The low will be around 32.
